Limited Brands Announces February 2013 Comps Up 3%
Limited Brands reported net sales of USD 712.7 million for the four weeks ended March 2, 2013, a increase of 9%, as compared with USD 653.9 million during the same period in 2012. Group comparable-store sales (comps) increased 3% during the month.
- Comps for Victoria's Secret stores increased 5%.
- La Senza store comps increased 5%.
- Bath & Body Works comps remained flat.
As of March 2, 2013, Limited Brands operated 2,875 specialty stores in the US, Canada, and the UK. Its Victoria's Secret, La Senza, Bath & Body Works, and Henri Bendel banners operated 1,047, 157, 1,642, and 29 stores respectively.
