Wag.com, a subsidiary of Amazon-owned Quidsi, launches a pet prescription service that gives pet owners direct access to pet medications on the site for the first time.  The first retailer to provide a pet prescription service online, Wag.com is able to do so through VetSource Pharmacy, a fully licensed and Vet VIPPS certified pet pharmacy that acquires pet medication directly from the manufacturer.  Pet owners who request prescriptions through VetSource on Wag.com will receive their orders within two days after the prescription is approved by the veterinarian.  Free shipping with no surcharges will be honored on all orders (not just prescriptions) USD 49 or more.
