Non-food discount chain Action has revived its expansion plan in the Polish market. Inside six weeks, the company will open a total of 12 new stores, including a second store in Szczecin and a fourth in Wroclaw, as well as two more in the Lodz Province. Currently, the operator has 69 stores in Poland and aims to achieve nationwide coverage within the short-to-medium term as well as establish a presence in all major metros. Action says its 2020 focus is on central and southern Poland, regions where it has yet to have a footprint for meaningful growth.
