French retailer Carrefour has recently announced that it plans to open its first Cash & Carry store in the region of Buenos Aires by the end of 2010.

  • The store will have a selling area of 7,000 square meters.
  • The retailer will use the Brazilian banner name Atacadão, which has already been exported to Colombia.
  • Carrefour is looking to expand Atacadão into other markets in Asia and Europe.
