Walmart has announced three new pet care services for its customers: a first-ever online pet pharmacy, more in-store veterinary clinics, and a wider assortment of pet foods.

Pet owners can now purchase low cost pet medicines from over 300 brands from the new online pharmacy called, with free two-day shipping on orders above $35. Walmart also plans to reach 100 in-store vet clinics over next year, starting with nine clinics in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in June 2019 (the retailer already has 21 clinics in operation).

Walmart has also expanded its pet food assortment online, with the addition of over 100 new organic, premium and “free-from” products, including from its own private label pet brands.
