Uber ventures into grocery delivery business in Canada. The tech company has selected Montreal and Toronto to initiate this launch, allowing shoppers in these cities to buy grocery through Uber and Uber Eats apps. The shoppers can order a variety of items from several retailers including Walmart, Metro, Rexall, Costco, Longos, Pet Valu and Well.ca, and get them delivered within 1-2 hours.

The grocery delivery service has gained momentum as people are mostly at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
